Beautiful border plant that produces a rosette of spoon shaped light green foliage with serrated edges from which rise spikes of medium sized thistle steely-blue flowers surrounded by feathery-like blue bracts.. Both stem and flower turn blue as they mature.
Very stunning for the summer border. The blue flower spikes appear in midsummer to early autumn.
