This large tropical species is a stunning foliage plant although the corn is edible. 'Blue Hawaii's large foliage has intricate blue-grey veining spreading out from the centre of the leaf, creating a very distinct plant perfect for warm, but shady areas.

Dies back over winter, but may revive in spring if protected from frost. Alternatively dig tubers before the first frosts and keep in a cool, frost free area. Replant in a pot the following spring.
