Primula pulverulenta produces bold whorls of deep pink flowers with rich maroon eyes, rising in tiers up strong upright stems. These 3 garden‑ready plug plants thrive in moist borders, woodland settings and beside water, creating an impressive candelabra display from late spring into early summer.

Primula pulverulenta is a classic candelabra primrose, admired for its deep pink tiers of flowers, each bloom marked with a darker maroon eye. The flowers open progressively up the stem, creating a dramatic, architectural display in late spring and early summer.

A true moisture‑lover, this variety thrives in damp, humus‑rich soil, making it perfect for pond edges, stream banks, bog gardens, woodland borders, and any shaded or semi‑shaded area that rarely dries out. Despite its preference for moisture, Primula pulverulenta is surprisingly versatile—performing beautifully in containers, rockeries, banks and border fringes when watered consistently.

Your order includes 3 × 5cm garden‑ready plug plants, ideal for planting directly into damp soil or potting on to grow on before planting out. Once established, this Primula forms striking clumps and can naturalise gently over time.
