Osteospermum ‘Tresco Purple’ is one of the most reliable hardy Osteospermum varieties, producing months of colour with very little fuss. We first discovered how good it really was by accident — moving into a house with “Tresco” in the name and finding it thriving in tough, dry conditions without any attention at all.

This variety forms a neat green mound with slightly red‑tinted stems, topped with rich purple flowers featuring a lighter reverse and distinctive darker veining that draws the eye toward the deep central disc. It looks incredible planted in groups, spilling over borders, or tumbling gently from gaps in stone walls.
