A classic British wildflower that announces spring with bright, cheerful yellow blooms.
The Wild Primrose (Primula vulgaris) is one of the UK’s most beloved native flowers — seen lighting up Cornish hedgerows and woodland edges with its soft lemon-yellow petals. Our plants are grown from commercially cultivated seed, never wild‑collected, making them perfect for gardens, wildlife areas, banks, meadows and shady borders.
This is one of the simplest yet most beautiful early-flowering perennials. Nothing signals spring (or even a late winter warm spell) more than the dazzle of sunshine hitting new primrose flowers. Over the years it will form a lovely clump, gently self-seeding to create natural drifts.
Your 3cm plants arrive healthy and ready to plant straight out, or you can pot them on if preferred.
